Hall and Son Pump Company

Hall and Son was an amazing company to work with! Dick (the owner) came out, gave my family and I a very honest, fair, and understandable estimate for what needed to be fixed. This was a nice encounter considering our prior engagement with another company; trying to sell items I didn't need. The very next day after our estimate, Dick had sent his son out to come and finally resolve the problems we were facing. He had replaced our broken pipe and pump (in our 146ft well). He worked on our water pump to fix a very annoying problem for us! For weeks our water was spitting out and not heating up very well. As a family of 5 in the house this was a everyday problem. We already faced heat issues with water because of our large family and a bigger one wasn't easy. I am so thankful for the hard working and respectful people with this company! I highly recommend Hall and Son, and will further recommend to those who face similar issues.

Never in my life have I been treated so poorly. I called a week ago for a flow test. Tuesday morning, Dan called to say he was going to try and get to our place that day, but it might be Wed. I told him to call me when he was heading out to our place and I'd meet him there. He called at noon to say he was on his way. He arrived before me and let himself into our house. He then called me and began to verbally berate me. He was critical, rude, and arrogant. He spoke down to me and seemed to be judging me because I didn't do a flow test prior to purchasing my home. He also put me down for having purchased new parts for my system at Grover's. He told me I didn't need a flow test but needed to change my filter around. When I asked questions to try and better understand what he was saying, he would state, "like I said before" and "well if you don't want to take free advice." When I tried to explain to him what we had done so far in our attempts to trouble shoot the issues we were having with out well, he said "well then you don't need my help." He refused to do a flow test, and would not straight forward answer my questions as to why. I even called him about 10 min later, and again asked why he could not preform the flow test that I requested. He still refused. He twisted my words and talked circles around me. I called Hall and Son Pump to get help, not to be chastised and criticized. I'm not sure if he treated me this way because I am a woman, but no one should be treated in such a manner. My husband called Hall and Son that evening to speak with the owner. They said he would call us back. We never received a return call. Many people I have spoken to in regards to my well system have referred me to Hall and Son. When I tell them of my experience they are surprised. As for me, I did not have a single positive interaction with this company.
