Edward H[redacted] took $600.00 as a down payment on a wall removal. He then showed up the equivalent of a day and a half of work, citing excuse after excuse. He also borrowed an additional 300 dollars from me to purchase a car for his wife. This was after a major sob story about his life. I came to find out he has nearly $20,000 dollars in court costs from crimes dating back to 1999 that he is still paying for. I had to fire him and have my neighbor and husband finish the job, which was done so poorly I had to put out more money to replace what Edward did. Edward H[redacted] then accused me of breaching contract and refused to reimburse me the money he took. He is a thief and a conman. He directed me to his "attorney" who is actually the owner of a local funeral home. The number he gave me was disconnected. Do not hire Haky Contracting if you want quality work.
