6/2/2016Dear [redacted] ,I am responding to the complaint received against Hajoca Lancaster with ID [redacted] .Having been in business for years, we take great pride in our reputation and the service levels needed to maintain all that we’ve worked to build over the generationsWhen we have an unsatisfied customer we take it seriously., even while knowing that we will never be able to please everyone.Hajoca Lancaster is a wholesale enterprise dealing primarily with contractor tradesmen and we have a large yellow sign hanging inside the front door stating that we are wholesale onlyOccasionally, someone will wander into our business as a retail customer looking to buy unusual parts for obscure plumbing items they could not find at a home center, We are able to assist them in some cases, and in others we are not.The gentleman referred to tn this complaint is a 27-year veteran of the industry and is truly one of those people who seems to never have a bad dayAs such, it has generally been my observation that he is one of the easiest folks to get along with and is sought out by many of our contractor customers because of his helpful natureI suppose that's why this complaint came as such a surprise to meHe does not remember much of this transaction, other than that the customer did not know the make of his faucet, so he was offered a part that may or may not work and was advised of suchHe was also advised of our return policy, which doesn't allow for products that have been taken out of their package to be returnedThis was more intended as a suggestion for him to find out the precise maker of his faucet.There was no issue at the time of sale that stood out to my sales person that would have led him to think the customer wasn’t content with the option he'd been given, it's upsetting to know that when we do go out of our way to help someone with a small part that they would respond in this fashionHe could just as easily have called me or walked about ten steps into my office, The consumer states he wants "No further contact by the business" so I guess I'll leave it at that.With kind regards,Bill MGeneral Manager
