I went to Hair Flair with a photo of how I wanted my hair done to see if Brenda could do it. She stated it would be no problem I was halfway there, it would take 4-5 hrs. I asked several times if she was sure. She kept sayin yes. My first appt. was 4 1/2 hrs. I left hair wet. ( I was going gray, have long dark hair, hadn't chemically treated my hair in over 4yrs. so my hair was in very good condition. The photo I showed Brenda was long white/silver hair with dark low lights.) Went home, had brown spots through out my hair. NOT what I wanted. Went back to the salon. She and her assistant bleached the top of my hair again, 2hrs more at the salon. When the assistant attempted to brush out my hair, it was breaking off profusely. I stopped her went home and combed it out. Now my hair is FRIED, breaking off and I have blond, red and brown streaked hair. Went back the next morning complained that my hair was NOT as the picture, and in horrible condition. She had her assistant give my hair a deep condition. Again I left to comb it out, still a tangled mess. I paid $275.00 for that. 4 weeks of conditioning later I found a salon who after extra vitamin conditioners and then toner was able to give me hair which is presentable, but will need more treatments. $205.00. Today I went back to Hair Flair to speak to Brenda to see if she would reimburse me for some of my expenses. That didn't go well, said that since I went elsewhere she would not do that.
I feel that going back 2 times after her doing my hair, the first time making it MUCH worst, was all I would allow. I wish I could attach pictures!

Barbara showed me a picture of color she wanted. I Was confident in the job for I have done this process to many clients through my years of experience. I explained that this was a very big job and required the product use of bleach which is drying to the hair , especially considering she had no color process on her hair , so texture would feel different after color service, so different care at home would be needed to keep hair soft feeling , moisturized . Day of color she went right home and did exactly what I educated her not to do , washed it many times with a clarifying shampoo. I know because she came back in hours later and told me how she washed it several times with a clarifying shampoo, which is extremely drying to hair especially after the color process she had done. With two more visits to my salon where I didn’t charge her , I added a lightener to some pieces she wanted the color lighter , she said it was brassy , I Color glazed her hair because she removed it with her shampooing at home and I gave her a deep conditioning treatment. I offered if she felt any more dryness to come back for complimentary conditioning treatments. She came back weeks later her hair looked normal and complained she went elsewhere and wanted a full refund. I explained if there was an issue you would have had to show me in person before supposedly making adjustments with another salon . Now she said she went elsewhere I could not see her hair complaint. If her hair was badly damaged it would take months to repair and there are no signs of that. Bottom line, Barbara tried me for hair services for the first time and was not happy with my work spent money elsewhere liked their work and wants to retract on her payment of services with me now. The complaint is about damage to her hair and there is no evidence of that ..

Brenda obviously does not do professional quality hair. Attached is what I wanted, what she assured me she could do, but not what I received.

Barbara your initial complaint was me damaging your hair and your first posting of that photo proved there was no damage indeed . Even if another salon did your hair after me , as you stated another salon did , the damage would still show for that only time can repair that. Now that you are mad you lost that point on the complaint so you are now saying “ I don’t do quality hair work “, which by the way is your opinion and defamation of character. And now you produce yet another photo which may I remind you , of your statement in your first posting of complaint “ you are sorry that you unfortunately don’t have photos to show after I , Brenda from Hair Flair did your hair.” So the photos last shown were of another hairdressers work which you told me in person and also in first statement of complaint, you had a few visits with another salon, another stylist . Your claim no longer has any credibility , because of you changing your story from first you saying you have no pictures and now you are producing, showing pictures. I stated documented facts and done with your shenanigans and refuse to continue answering your rants, this case is closed. Brenda L
