Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/03/10) */ We thank you for contacting usWe have concluded that even though this is not a manufacture defect we are willing to replace the unit anywayWe have asked this consumer for his mailing address so that we could proceed in doing so Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 8, 2016/03/11) */ Hagen have now agreed to replace the itemThank you for your assistance
Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: the item was not sold "as is" the stamp on the receipt refers to the annuals (plants) that I purchased at the same time, not the tankAlbeit the tank was on sale, the local vendor was not selling an "as-is" tankI still feel the loss of profit(The original price on the tank was not at this store) is absorbed by the local store (Hagen still sold it to them at their price) so should make no difference on whether they stand by their warranty Sincerely, [redacted] ***
