To whom it may concern. We received this complaint regarding this tank which this product normally retails for about $130.00. So paying $30 is well below its normal sale price.  We offered to refund the cost of the purchase, but cannot provide a 100$+ product for something that was sold...

I am rejecting this response because:  the item was not sold "as is" the stamp on the receipt refers to the annuals (plants) that I purchased at the same time, not the tank. Albeit the tank was on  sale, the local vendor was not selling an "as-is" tank. I still feel the loss of profit(The original price on the tank was 89.99 not 130 at this store) is absorbed by the local store (Hagen still sold it to them at their price) so should make no difference on whether they stand by their warranty.
