As expected the business's reply distorted the facts.Additionally, the business paid $3,800 for the equipment. Their offer to reimburse us $2,500 of the $5,000 we paid them still provides them with a great deal.  They are paying us $2,500 for equipment that would cost them $3,800.  However, we have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to us.  We would like to put the financial aspect of this behind us.
