I have had my H2O Concepts water system for year nowI've never had any problems and my water tastes amazingDefinitely would refer this company to others

We got our HConcepts unit in the early 1990's because the tap water in Gilbert was awful! We loved it from the start! Then in we moved further south, and HConcepts people moved it to our new home We feel it was about the best investment we ever made! We love it, and would recommend it to anyone for the best tasting water from any faucet in your home It is very low maintenance; we can't figure how it keeps working without our doing anything to it For great tasting water, get HConcepts! We are SO glad we made that investment over years ago!

My unit quit after yrs of service I was able to purchase and have installed another unit without any problem I very much like the HConcepts water filter I am happy to have a State -of-the-Art filter and look forward to many trouble free years of service

We purchased our H2O system a little over one year ago at home show held at the University of Phoenix stadium This has been one of the best investments we have made since we purchased our house in Casa Grande two years ago We are completely pleased with the product and have recommended it to multiple other people

This is our second H2O Concepts water system The installer was very professional, prompt, courteous and attentive, and he finished the install ahead of schedule We are excited to have our new system as there is no other one like it on the market

H2O Concepts - Phoenix, Arizona

As a consumer, spending $4,500 for a complete water conditioning system, my experience with the product performance is very satisfactory. If you are considering this company, the product technology and the overall results are great. http://www.h2oconcepts.com/

However, be aware that H2O Concepts installation and post-sale service is poor. Following installation of the equipment, and within a week, the plumbing began to leak. I am a RN at a medical hospital and so needed H2O Concepts to come to my home to repair the leaking pipe after my scheduled work hours. The company stated it would be one week as they do not perform service after business hours. After learning this, I told them I would contact a plumber to correct the leaking plumbing, before any water damage occurred to my floor, and send H2O Concepts the invoice. I took photos and forwarded them to the company with the plumber’s invoice, and their manager, [redacted], said they would not pay the invoice. By the way, my plumber corrected the water leak in less than 10 minutes.

So please be informed that H2O Concepts has a poor record of installation and customer service record. Now I learn that others have had similar poor customer service from H2O Concepts. [redacted]

This company is the WORST rip off I have ever encountered.

This company is the WORST rip off I have ever encountered.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The system was sold to me as a "water softener" and their literature implies this.  Their literature and sales presentation is misleading.I thought I was buying a water conditioning and softening system - I was mislead by the sales person and the sales literature they provided. As far as the replacement system they offered, I priced the same system and found that I could purchase the water softener system they offered for around $2,300, far less that what they are saying it would cost.  I have a brochure and quote for the system proposed from a competitor.  I paid over $4700 for their system. My last request was for them to simply remove the system from my house and refund my money.  It is obvious that the system is not performing as represented and they admit this by offering to replace it with a softening system.  However, they refused to refund my money but did offer to take their system out for "free".  This seems a bit unfair as they system did not do what they represented it to do (descaling), in fact, by solubolizing the calcium carbate, it makes scaling worst - which is why they now say to wipe the scale off of fixtures every 2-3 days.  Does this seem normal?  To have to wife all fixtures in the house down every 2-3 days?  Not to mention the landscaping irrigation system which is about 35% plugged.I think it is reasonable to have them take the system out and refund my money.  The water treatemnt system is not working as advertized and they should accept responsibility for this to resolve this issue.?

Less than a year after paying a lot of money for H2O Concept's glorified charcoal filter of coconut shells, I called them and asked them to buy back my unit. I said I was not satisfied with the results of using it for almost a year and preferred softened water and reverse osmosis drinking water. The H2O Concept's water still tested positive for a lot of dissolved solids which could be more than just harmless minerals. When asked what my problem was, I said the salesman implied that the hardness problem with my water would improve over time as the minerals were broken down and less damaging to my pipes and appliances. After buying a new dishwasher, I still had film on my dishes and silverware that I had to wipe off before I could use them.

My answer from management was a flat out, 'we don't buy back our units'. To me this spoke volumes about their own confidence in their system. Less than a year of life on a 10 year tank and they didn't even want to make me a offer.

My experience with the installation was a little strange. The installer met me at the house before I had fully moved in. Seeing the 10 year old hot water heater, he asked if I needed a new one. I said, 'I don't know, I haven't even used this yet.' So he said he would check it out. He called me out of the house and said it wasn't working and had someone to replace it the next day for $1000. I agreed since I knew I needed hot water. The next morning, I checked the gas line to the house and it wasn't even turned on. I turned it on and the hot water heater fired right up. I canceled the new ($1000) hot water heater.

Now the installer should have checked to see if gas was getting to the unit before trying to light it. I just thought he was incompetent to not have done that. But now with the current attitude of management for a dissatisfied customer, I don't know. Was he trying to sell me a over priced hot water heater?

We recently had a water system installed by H2O Concepts. Everyone we dealt with at the company - including Sherri, the owner - was friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. The water system is so easy to operate and maintain...literally nothing to it. The quality of our water is great and we're happy we chose H2O Concepts.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Both the sales rep and the installer were pleasant, knowledgable and well-trained. No high pressure sales or add on cost. We love the taste of our water and feel really good about the purchase of our H2O concept water system. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get rid of their water softener and RO systems. We are happy we made the call.

8-3-16 I was trying to research their products and obtain price information, after seeing their TV promotion program. My current water conditioning system is aging and I wanted to get some information before actually needing one. No price information was available online and an appointment was required (not the end of the world however) . Upon her arrival, the sales rep told me she could not provide any price information without her because, I wouldn't know what my wife's concerns were regarding a water conditioning system (a poor assumption on her part). She said they have a sales policy that requires both spouses to be there, which seems like a hard sales tactic to me, (especially when the sales rep. tells you the price is only good for 4 days). This type of policy may be normal in this business, but I have never purchased anything (even a home) which required me and my spouse to attend the first meeting. I guess times are changing. Needless to say, the meeting ended quite quickly.

Our Phoenix water tasted terrible , until we purchased the H2O Concepts water system. Within minutes our water tasted great. No more dragging home big bottles of water. We drink so much more water now, because it tastes so good. My laundry no longer fades, and my crystal and glassware is spot free. I no longer use conditioner when I shampoo. I cannot say enough about how much I love this system. It was well worth the investment.

Tell us why here...The first time the customer called and said they did not know what the floaties were in their water we explained to the customer when water freezes (Ice) the calcium will gather together and that is what floaties are. They are not bad they are a mineral....

Customer did not want to see them so we told the customer an RO is what they want because minerals are removed. We don’t recommend RO water because they remove the good minerals. We did install one for the customer at no cost.  When the customer called back and said the rep said there won’t be any spotting I reminded the customer that even on the agreement it states “The AMP Force by using electronic impulses converts the calcium to water soluble, non-adherent calcium carbonate. If water is allowed to evaporate the dissolved calcium carbonate will be left behind. Although easily removed, this residue or spotting should be anticipated and cleaned before multiple layers accumulate.” We have all customers read and initial this statement. That way there is no “he say she say”. This Customer did initial it.  I was not able to speak to give suggestions on ways to help eliminate some of the spotting from showing up. We have helpful hints on our website that can help. They are just different things you can try because we don’t take out your healthy minerals and replace them with salt so you can still see them, however our helpful hints will help minimize them. If the customer wants to call us, we are willing to help.

To all who are thinking about buying this system......

I had a H2O concepts system installed in my home appx 7-8 years because Dr. [redacted] said he has one and loves it for his family. Well, The people who sell these / this system will tell you the system takes out the hard water / calcium. That's a LIE ! It takes out very, very little calicium if any. I have hard water

at my home so I had this systen installed. I bought it because I have hard water, period ! The sales guy exact words to me were/ "it's takes out most of the calicium but not all of it". Bull ! If you have hard water don't waste $5000 on this. In a few years all you're plumbing will be gagged up with that hard water calicium buildup and your plumbing will be a mess and you'll need many things replaced including your water heater. I've replaced my water heater 4 times in 7-8 years. Before you buy this expensive system have your water checked and I'd recommend not by anyone selling a water system

because you may not get the truth, the whole truth, and certainly nothing but the truth.
