I am rejecting this response because:No resolution or progress has been metH&R Block business is simply denying the claim and not honoring the service I paid forH&R Block keeps claiming the basis is based "off the return being prepared correctly" (which is not entirely true as Ms*** previously stated they admit to having some fault) and also denying because of "lack of substantiation"I provided all of the proof and documentation that was requested from me to H&R BlockI even went above and beyond to assist as much as it was asked of me by H&R Block during this audit representation, by taking days off from work to meet with H&R Block and IRSI don't know what else I could have done from my part to be of better assistance than I had done
Please do not close this case as it is still unresolved and clearly the business (H&R Block) does not care on resolving this matter or value their customer's satisfactionI am very disappointed with H&R Block services and the way they are treating this matter

The Refund Bonus terms and conditions state, in part; "Once you've e-filed your return, you will not be able to cancel your participation in the Program or change your selection." Our records show that when the federal income tax refund was sent by the IRS, H&R Block emailed Mr*** a link and the link was used to select different retailersOnce those selections were made, the e-cards were issued by those retailers directly and once purchased, each Retailer is solely responsible to the client for their ability to use that Retailer's e-gift cards. I am rejecting this response because: I received an amended return from the district manager and I clearly stated (in an emailnot mentioned in H&R Block's response) that I need an explanation of the amended returnHow was the Mistake made? Why do I owe more money to federal and Ohio? Why is the check I just received this week in a lesser amount than what is due to the IRS and what the peace of mind contract states??? Of course I understand that the distract manager stated I need to send in the signed amended returnI'm extremely disappointed that any business would expect me to sign something without an explanation of what I'm signingClearly, H&R Block made several mistakes in preparing my taxes but I need an explanation before I sign anything and send it in to the IRS, as any reasonable person wouldAlso, I need the full amount that is due to the IRS as per my peace of mind contract.

I am rejecting this response because:As you admit, *** believes she made attempts to contact me over the summer and again in OctoberHowever, I received no calls from herShe left no voice mail messages for me, and made no attempt to contact me by email otherwise I would have responded as I consider my taxes importantShe cannot provide proof that she made attempts to contact meWhen I contacted her in January of this year, she DID NOT inform me my return could no longer be filed electronicallyShe stated she would have to have to "look into it" and she would call me back shortly and let me know what was going on, which she failed to doI made two other attempts to contact her and was told by an employee of the office that she was "busy" and would call me back, which she did notI stated this in my original complaintAlso, *** did not mail a form with instructions,She mailed me only my form in an envelope with no other document I will be mailing the to the IRSHowever, the only response I will accept is a refund on the service I paid for which guaranteed my tax to be filed, and H&R Block agreeing to pay for any interest and penalties imposed by the IRS for my return being filed lateThere is no excuse for this lack of service and for *** *** shifting the blame to me for her mistakeI did not request an extension on my filing, nor did she make an effort to contact meBased on the service I have received, I will not be using H&R Block for future tax services and will be recommending to others not to use themH&R Block and *** *** need to admit to their mistakes, apologize, and offer amends.

I am rejecting this response because: *** *** provided an incorrect response regarding payment on 12/12/ I received payment on 1/27/(Check Number *** in the amount of $1,and Check Number *** in the amount of $197.00) for Federal Penalties and Interest Here attached are a copy of the aforementioned checks.Also attached is a correspondence from *** Governor *** *** (dated 12/28/12) and *** ***, *** *** (dated 12/7/12) regarding receipt of a letters I wrote to him concerning the tax liens (one of two) placed on my home because of the errors on my taxes If H&R Block had paid monies on 12/12/as stated in their response tax issues would have been resolved In addition I attached the outstanding balance sheet provided to me from the *** *** Office (dated 6/25/12) prior to communicating with the Governors Office I had contacted the local H&R Block Office and provided as much documentation that I had in my possession at the time.I implore your office to see the attached documentation and ask H&R Block to compensate me
