Review: I called to have them come out and look at my ac unit and was told there was a 89.00 diagnostic fee if they were going to charge more they would let us know. The ac unit was toast and not fixable but when I got the bill it was 139.00 which was 50.00 more than quoted.

After discussing this issue with our service

technician who was on sight, we came to the conclusion that he did speak with

the wife, [redacted], who was at the location of where the service was

needed. Our technician thoroughly explained to the wife before the work was

performed that there was a $79.95 diagnostic fee and anything above his

findings there would be an extra charge which she was fine with. Our technician

located a mouse nest in the compressor which he cleaned out and also found chewed

wires. He replaced the wires so he could test the system properly. Once he

tested the system he found that the compressor would not start and recommended

with the age of the system and costs to repair the compressor a new unit should

be installed. The wife signed off on our service invoice and paid the bill with

a check on the date of service. We understand that miscommunications occur and

with practicing good business ethics we will refund Mr. [redacted] the $50.00 that

is being disputed.

Called for a service appt. That same morning [redacted] the tech came out and gave me a run down on the furnace and a good ol' cleaning. Very friendly and courteous from start to finish.

Definitely would do business with H J Faust again.
