Prior to scheduling service for plumbing work I was quoted an hourly rate ($per hour) Upon receiving the bill for the work completed I was charged for 100% more service hours than were actually performed When I contacted the owner I was informed it was their practice to charge for additional non-service hours above and beyond the actual time of work done It was explained that this was to cover their "overhead." This is contrary to the price quoted to me prior to my authorizing the workI specifically asked them to explain their billing and this "overhead" was never mentioned Though I understand the concept of "overhead", a 100% surcharge is exorbitant and egregious
