For over years, Guardian Security has been a leader in security, fire and communications systems in Washington State. Guardian is a family-owned company with a strong commitment to the people and communities that we serve. We take great pride in our first-in-class customer
service. At Guardian, we strive daily to provide the best products and services at a fair and competitive price. Unfortunately, on a rare occasion, such as this, we run across a situation where a customer expects to be able to purchase a product for a price that we cannot sell it at. Guardian Security enters written contracts with all our customers. Customers are responsible for reading the contract and being aware of their obligations thereunder. We are disappointed to learn that the customer in this case was unaware of the contract terms. When a customer fails to pay amounts due under the contract, we always strive to make every effort to work with the client to assist them with payment terms that they can sustain. The customer’s assertion in this case that we placed their debt with a collection agency for collection is not accurate. While Guardian’s internal employees and agents have attempted to collect amounts owed under the contract, the only publication outside of Guardian of the fact that these amounts were owing and not paid, was made by the customer in this case in their own complaint to your organization. All that said, in our effort to go the extra mile for our customer, Guardian has resolved this matter as requested. See attached letter Therefore, this matter should be closed and noted as resolved to Complainant’s satisfaction
