Guardian Basement in Pikesville MD did an overly priced work for a medial job.I had to call the men back three times to correct their mistakesThey took more breaks then workWhen they left, they took a present that my son-in-law had given to my husbandI was not going to give them a bad review because good help is very hard to fine these daysThere was NO ONE ELSE in our basement because it is NOT an entertaining area right nowBesides, we do not have any visitors except for my children who gave the gift to my husbandSo, keep a sharp eye on the workers
I signed a contract for 10,to waterproof the basementAt the end of the job, I was asked to sign another contract for $2,to complete the job
Guardian tried to come in at the end of the job that I signed a contract for, and wanted to add $2,to complete the waterproofing jobI already made a $5,deposit to get the job started Joel saw the water on the wall and standing water on the wall by the floorWhen I questioned him on how he was going to put dry-lock paint on an extremely wet wall, he said they would drill weep holes There was no way that was going to workThe wall was totally soaked Then Joel decided to put sheets of fiberglass on a wall that was already being charged for dry lock paint The fiberglass sheets cost $a sheet During the estimate, I showed a bare spot between the window and the basement in a window well that concerned me because that was where most of the water was coming in Initially, Joel said there would be no problem fixing it
The company is not very reputableThey installed a tank in the front of my TH to drain ground water from in my indoor sump pump knowing that this was not effective since the Hartford County dirt is clay and would not be able to absorb the water The water continued to flow in front of my house and extended to my neighbors front lawnsCurrently, with the cold weather the area is nothing but batches of ice in the morningThis cost me well over $1,with no feedback from the company to rectify the matter
