GT Transmissions

I had been checking out a vehicle on this lot for a couple of weeks. I had been saving up for a while and along with a decent chunk of my tax return.I had about 8,000 to spend. The car I was interested in was around 9,500. So the owner comes out and asked what I was looking to spend. I replied with like 1,700 just so I wouldn't show my eagerness. I asked to test drive the vehicle and was told that he wasn't going to let me drive a 9,000 dollar vehicle. I've never heard of a dealer saying that. So I politely declined to do business with someone who assumed I didn't have the cash or that I was not worthy to test drive his 9,000 dollar over a 120,000 mile vehicle. I'm sure my skin tone an hair style played a major role in his assumptions. Never considering I've worked 60 hr weeks the last 10 weeks just to be able to purchase a decent used vehicle. I went to a few other lots an test drove multiple vehicles with no problem. I'm glad I stuck to my guns I found a great deal and wasn't offended in the process. Don't shop here not only was the guy rude but he had vehicles on the lot that were not up to par.
