This is a terrible companyI worked for a company that used GSG for their IT servicesIn addition to my work computer, I purchased a home computer from GSG and had them set it up to be compatible for workAfter I left the company I was working for, I contacted GSG to remove me from that company's domain, and set up a couple of other thingsI was told that it would take to hours and that I would need to pay up front by credit card( I live out of state, and all work was being done remotely.) While I didn't like having to pay to be removed from the domain, I was willing to do itThen, at the time of the appointment, the tech told me that the owner of the company required that I pay for four hours up front, and any time that wasn't used would be a creditI explained that since I lived out of state I probably wouldn't be using them again, but they refused to do any work without me paying a four hour minimumBottom line was I had to pay over $for one hour of work, and now I have a hour credit that I have to figure out how to useThey do raesonably good tech work, but I don't see how they stay in business requiring people to pay up front for more work than was doneHorrible company
This is a terrible company. I worked for a company that used GSG for their IT services. In addition to my work computer, I purchased a home computer from GSG and had them set it up to be compatible for work. After I left the company I was working for, I contacted GSG to remove me from that company's domain, and set up a couple of other things. I was told that it would take 2 to 3 hours and that I would need to pay up front by credit card. ( I live out of state, and all work was being done remotely.) While I didn't like having to pay to be removed from the domain, I was willing to do it. Then, at the time of the appointment, the tech told me that the owner of the company required that I pay for four hours up front, and any time that wasn't used would be a credit. I explained that since I lived out of state I probably wouldn't be using them again, but they refused to do any work without me paying a four hour minimum. Bottom line was I had to pay over $400.00 for one hour of work, and now I have a 3 hour credit that I have to figure out how to use. They do raesonably good tech work, but I don't see how they stay in business requiring people to pay up front for more work than was done. Horrible company.
