Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I have already replaced the tires since they were unsafe and one had already blown pictures can be provided  if needed and reimbursement would be fine.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:The complaint has not yet been fully resolved and is still in the waiting process. Although I have received and update from them that they are still waiting, it does not change the fact that my windshield is still currently broken and I still have no guarantee that they will be responsible for fixing it, when it seems as it it still going to be dependent on the results of the claim request.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, 100% agreed, we only want to sell vehicles that are safe to drive. Our sales department relies on the service department to let them know what car needs corrected to be safe. i'll take a look at our inspection sheet to see if tires were recommended from...

the tech. if I find that we noted bad tires, didn't replace them and sold you the car with the bad tires. I will be happy to replace them.

I have been trying to get an answer from Nissan on this windshield. The windshield has a stress crack that starts at the body on the driver’s side. I have emailed our FOM who is out of the office sick for an unknown amount of time, and I have also emailed [redacted] with no response. I have...

completed all of the glass claim information through technical assistance and have been waiting on a reply. We have advised the customer that that is what we are waiting on a reply from anyone with Nissan for help on the approval.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2015/05/13) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
after the Revdex.com contacted bob howard the same day they reviewed the complaint and called me to apologize an went I felt out of their way to correct the issue. I appreciate the strong customer service an their willingness to quickly correct it. mistakes are made but how they are taken care of is the heart of the company an for that I would give them an a+++ an purchase another vehichle from them [redacted] b

Mr. [redacted],   In response to the Jeep Wrangler you purchased from us back on November 30 2015 I went and pulled your deal file so I could better answer all your questions and respond appropriately. Attached you will find copies of the law contract, our menu that shows all our warranty options...

that we offered to you, the option you selected and the purchase order on your Jeep.  On all the documents enclosed the warranty price was fully disclosed to you and on the menu the payment with the price matches the payment on your contract and the price of the warranty on the contract. To say we didn’t provide a clean transaction is a little misleading pertaining to all the documents that were signed.   However, it does appear that you did have a less than satisfactory experience and for that I do sincerely apologize. If you do not want the warranty that was purchased that is not a problem I would be more than happy to cancel it for you. All you need to do is fill out the enclosed cancelation forms and I will make sure that it is processed right away and that it is a priority to be canceled. Since there is a lien on the vehicle that refund amount will be applied to your loan and the money issued will go directly to Capital One and it will lower your overall loan balance. The payment will not change but it will be applied to your loan.   I again apologize for the unsatisfactory experience that you had with us. If there is anything else I can do in the future please let me know.   Sincerely,   [redacted] General Manager Bob Howard Toyota [redacted]

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Thank you for the prompt response [redacted]. I accept your offer for reimbursement and believe it is fair for both Bob Howard Dodge and me to each cover half of the extra costs beyond originally agreed final cost. I will gladly close this complaint upon receipt of reimbursement via mail. Please send certification of sent mail.
Thank you.

[redacted] my service manager needs to speak to you. The claims do not seem possible, but we want to make it right if they are. Send a copy of the paid invoice to [redacted]@bobhowardauto.com

The car deal has been unwound and the we have our truck back.

We worked on Mr. [redacted]’s 2003 Honda pilot and  installed a new outer repair panel on left rear door. We realigned the door as Mr. [redacted] did not like the way it was shutting and he also complained about the belt molding. We had AAA insurance come out, and showed them the repairs, and  the belt...

molding ; they told us to put a new molding on it. Mr. [redacted] had also complained that the AC was not working and the insurance denied any repairs to the AC as they said it was not related to the accident and they knew that putting an outer repair panel on a door could not cause it. We mentioned the fit, and they said that he was only complaining about the molding. We told them that the only thing we could do with the door would be to try a new one to see if it would fit better, and they thought Mr. [redacted] was okay with the fit of the door.  We ordered a  new belt molding and the first one came in bent. The second one came in and it was undamaged. The belt molding that fits the vehicle only comes in one  finish and that is flat black. The vehicle has 208,000 miles on it and the other belt moldings have become shiny because the flat finish has worn off. Mr. [redacted] said that was not acceptable, but we explained that we could not match the worn out finish of the other moldings. We put Mr. [redacted] in a rental each time that we tried to satisfy him on the door, but believe that anything less than a new door, which the insurance company is now doing, was probably not going to work.  Mr. [redacted] took his vehicle to another shop, I went over and spoke with the manager of the shop, and he said he couldn’t see that we had done anything wrong, but he agreed that a new door was going to be the only way to satisfy Mr. [redacted]. I believe that AAA is going to let them try a new door.

To whom it may concern,I had talked with Mrs. [redacted] earlier this week. I know for a fact that she was fully aware that she had purchased the Warranty in question. The documentation that the Auto Group I work for would make it impossible for a customer to not know what they had, or had...

not purchased. Mrs. [redacted] has been informed that if she doesn’t want the extended warranty she has the legal right to cancel the warranty. I tried to reach out to Mrs. [redacted] again this morning. I left her a message to please call me.

Trying to contact the client directly. The client must contact [redacted] at Bob Howard Toyota. ###-###-####

We exchanged this client from the car she was in, into another car that was more money. The law requires the tag to paid on both units. There is nothing else we can do.

Title was mailed and returned to dealership. We attempted several calls to let her know the title was returned to us but no contact was made. After she called us we told her the title was here, she was belligerent and refused. Title is still here waiting on her. The client did owe us money which we...

for gave her of the debt, to complete the deal.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The dispute is over how the key FOB failed. I can understand that the business wants to protect itself against frivolous warranty claims. However, in no way, is this frivolous. They leave me no other recourse except to file a small claims suit.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Obviously, I didn't exactly get the resolution I had hoped for, but if the resolution is the best I can hope for, then so be it.I hope the dealer has learned something about how they conduct their business from this, & changes some of their practices so that someone else doesn't have to go through this ridiculousness.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Unbeknownst to us this customer transaction was thought to be a straw purchase going originally through AmeriCredit. When the deal went in for funding the Bank discovered the vehicle was for the brother. After multiple calls we were finally able to get the customer in...

and discuss the purchase and who the vehicle was for. At that time it was our understanding that the vehicle was for the customers brother who is in fact a minor. We were successful in getting the loan reapproved through Exeter. Once the deal was in for funding, Exeter discovered that the customer had switched jobs and was no longer actively employed at the place listed on the credit application. Once again we made multiple calls to the customer to get the updated employment information and updated proof of income. Once the customer finally returned our calls we informed them that we needed the information and proof of income, or the vehicle to be returned. The customer chose the latter. We refunded the down payment to the customer at the time of receipt and inspection of the vehicle.
