Dear Mr. [redacted],I am writing to you in response to a complaint against my company, complaint id [redacted].In late November we went to the claimants home for a “no heat” call. All it was, was the pump needed bled on the oil furnace. We did not charge a diagnostic fee nor did we charge a service call. A...
service call for an oil furnace is $85.00. We advised the homeowner that the lines on the system would need to be changed and the repair cost would be approximately $200.00Two days later the pump lost its prime again and the homeowner wanted us to come back and bleed the pump again for free. I advised it would be a waste of time, the system would just keep losing prime if the proper repair was not made. They informed me they could not afford to pay for the appropriate repairs.I already did a service call “free of charge” once. The homeowner was made aware of what needed done to keep the furnace functioning properly.Sincerely,Walter ** G[redacted]
