We wanted them to help get a lawn ready for an event on a specific date They promised they could help and suggested a course of treatment They quickly did not comply with their own schedule and again promised to complete the treatments by the first of April In the end they did not do the treatments on time and apologized - their reason for not being able to help was that they have too many customers! Now they have one fewer

My concern is with yellow patches that occurred over the summer that did not recover, once the long-awaited rains finally arrived. What I could not understand was why the lawn went dead and failed to recover in several spots. The nutri-lawn chap declared that it was our failure to water frequently enough during an extremely dry summer. No attempt was made to explain why some spots might die off so completely while others ( 80 % of the lawn) did just fine. The NL guy consider this a black and white issue: failure to water = source of the problem. Describing my almost daily watering of 25 water plants and surrounding grass counted for nothing. I just wanted to understand why such a patchy lawn had developed in this, my first year of service from nutrilawn. I intended to use that understanding to inform my decision about continuing or not with this firm. Instead of basing this decision upon an understanding of the problem, I must now base it upon my interactions with the 'technician'. I will not be renewing the contract.
