Review: On June 23, 2015 Igor S[redacted] came to my house and charged me $680 to replaced the compressor on my AC Unit and the compressor stopped working again on August 19th, 2015. I called him to come see what the issue is and he came and told me that the compressor was bad again. So, I asked him if he knows why the compressor went bad again and he told me that he does not know why. He just told me to replace the entire unit. So, instead of doing that, I called another contractor and had to pay $115 for Howell's Heating and Air to come and see exactly why the compressor went bad. They looked at it in detail and they noted down on paper that the compressor was not installed correctly the last time it was installed and that several things were not done the way they should have properly been done and this caused the compressor to go bad in such a short period of time. They noted down everything that was not done properly on paper and made a new estimate of what they would need to do to fix the issue. I have since contacted him to fix the issue and he told me that because I contacted the other company that I should have them fix it and insisted on not doing anything to fix the problem he caused. Since that time that I talked to him, he has not been answering or returning my calls, so this has lead me to file a complaint to at least get my money back that he took from me for incorrectly installing the compressor. I have now been without AC for about a month.Desired Settlement: I would like for him at this point to return my $680 that he charged me for installing the compressor incorrectly since he chose not to fix the issue.
