Is there a way we can link up and sue or get the federal government involved seeing as its a tribal business they truly suck
I am a returning customer that assumed I was receiving the same loan as usual. It is easier if you are a returning customer so it was not made clear that they changed the type of loan they offer. It is usually a flex loan in which the payment amount is lower every two weeks. Well, I noticed that my payment was not going down and was told they now do 10 month loans! It was not clear and now I am paying $2389.94 for a $450.00 loan! Crazy how I am being scammed!
This is my second Loan with this company and I am paying so much interest for a $500.00 loan. I have been emailing them to get a payoff amount so I can stop paying this high interest and they do not send me the payoff amount. I am sure that it is because they do not want me to pay it off but want to continue debiting my account to collect their high interest . I requested this loan because I really needed the money for an emergency repair and thought I would not be charged such high interest for this small amount.
After I read their application/loan documents before obtaining a loan for $850, I immediately attempted to take steps to not authorize my approval to obtain before the funds were sent to my bank account, but they ignored my messages and emails and sent it anyway so I couldn't get out of it w/o the extra burdensome requirements they demanded. Seriously, pay back some two grand for borrowing less than one grand? I read that and was like NO FG WAY and followed the instructions on how to stop the process before it was too late but it was too late and I have to pay the extra ridiculous price for it. My bad.
Yes hello,
Struggling college student here.
I have a loan of $450 that I borrowed, and no where nor was I told that I would be making payments upto $1,300. I’m paying tuition of $865 a month, I thought my last payment WAS MY LAST, but no, surprise surprise. I tired all day calling your customer service to, 1. Wait for an hour, and 2, get ahold of someone and to get cut off almost immediately upon bring up any talk of money! I don’t get it! I had to sign onto my account and see what was going on, to find all this out. And again the $1300 that I’m paying on a $450 loan is beyond me! I’m paying $865 on student tuition, and they were more clear than you are!
For anyone to do this, is just wow.
Again I tried calling, no one took this very serious, and I got hung up on several times, I waited 6 hours on the phone to talk with someone, just to have them tell to me email you.
green trust is a company that is about getting over. If you are in need of money they are like we got you now. What company takes over 20 payments out of your account for a 300.00 dollar loan. one who has no morals, dignity or character.
Do not use this company Green Trust.
You would make out better begging on the streets. This is the biggest legal scam in the entire universe. PLEASE do not learn the hard way. If your back is ever against the wall make other arrangements. PLEASE stay away!
customer service number is 1-866-479-0784 for Green Trust cash:
I completed and FULLY PAID OFF a loan with GreenTrust Cash for $650. I ended up paying $2250 for the loan and paid directly out of my checking account. I had an incident where I changed accounts and a payment was returned. I immediately informed them of my new account and reconciled the payment and paid everything off in full from that point on. Recently I had a financial emergency and applied for another loan. They had my account listed as a "charge off" which should be only when a company has to "eat" a payment. In this case GreenTrust received EVERY DOLLAR THEY WERE OWED. It is unfair and shady business practices to list someone's account as charged off when you received all of your money. The amounts that are charged for these loans is in and of itsself outlandish; but when you have someone who pays these loans off and you deny them additional business that says a lot about a company.
I will not recommend GT to anyone else who needs emergency financial assistance as I feel as a customer I was treated like a second class citizen. Shame on you GreenTrust.
-Wow, thanks for that review. I was just about to accept a loan with intents to pay it in full next weekend!
However, after reading your comment - I can't help but wonder what sheos I'd be in if this happened to me right now: my family's house burnt down due to a lightning strike. We're okay which literally in itself make everything ????. but we had to spend thousands on cloaths, eating out, new beds, furniture..etc. My truck tranny went out as soon as we got back home after racking up all that debt. I believe myself personally worthy of superior customer service at this time.
I called for a loan from Greentrust they ask if I wanted the money the same day I said yes It was deposited in the same day for fee off 20$ From my bank & 15$ from Greentrust I called them that say oh let me listen to the phone call on hold for fifteen minutes come back to say oh they didn't tell you fees were associated with the loan but u sign it there's nothing we can do so people please read loan documents before you sign RIP OFF HIDDEN FEES NOBODY WANTS THAT IF YOU ARE BORROWING MONEY
Review: I applied for a loan of $350.00 from this company in September 2015 because I had an emergency situation. Like most payday loans I expected to pay more than what I actually borrowed but this company took advantage of me. I gave my checking information, which is required to obtain the loan so that they can extract money from your account every payday. I recently reviewed my bank documents and realized they were paid a total of $1273.00 from account by automatic withdraw, I do not understand why they would take money from an individual who is already in a financial bind. I came to them for financial assistance and they have actually robbed me. where is the money going?? Why is it that they are allowed to prey on low income individuals. Their business practices are to prey on the disadvantaged and that is why many states are making them illegal. When I made contact with this company I explained my issue and they did not even consider my situation to work out anythingDesired Settlement: I am willing to pay $700 for processing a loan of $350 which ids double the amount I borrowed.

Review: I received a cash advance/payday loan from Green Trust Cash in June 2013 of $400. When I received a phone call from one of their representative to verify my information, I was told about the repayment policy. She gave me three option, 1st one being the $60 interest repayment, 2nd payment was the $400 I borrowed from then and 3rd, a late fee of $10 if my payment was late. She never once said I would need to call back to initiated my repayment of the $400. I was away for a while, upon my return, I notice that they have been deducting $60 from my account since June 13, 2013. On 6/13 $60, 6/20 $60, 6/27 $60, 7/3 &60 and 7/11 $70. That have deducted a total of $310.00 from my account since 6/13 and I still have an outstanding loan balance with them. When they are finish deducting from my account, they would have doubled what I borrowed from then on 6/5, which was only $400. I called Green Trust Customer service and spoke with Debbie and she explained to me how the process works. I told her that the rep I spoke never explained it to me like that and I was surprised to see my account was deducted so many time and my loan is still outstanding. I still owe them. I told her that this is very misleading and I told the rep to take out the money, which I thought was already done until I saw the deductions of the four $60 and the one $70. This company is very misleading on how they explain things to their customer, why would I want to pay all that interest for so long. I told her why didn't someone call and let me know that my loan was still outstanding, especially as a new customer. By the time I finish paying them they have EARNED about $500 from me in addition to the $400. There are constantly sending me emails about referring a friend, why couldn't they send an email advising me the my balance is still outstanding or someone from their end should've contacted me. I don't that kind of money to give them. It ridiculous that they would deduct ONLY deduct the interest, very MISLEADING when explaining repaymentDesired Settlement: I would like for them to credit the amount they have already deducted from my checking account, which as of 7/13 is $310.00 towards my total outstanding balance. I feel like I robbed and mislead about the repayment. If your going to take AUTOMATICALLY take out the $60 interest, why not TAKE OUT the entire balance like I advised the rep. I have already given her permission when she called me to verify and confirmed my information. Why they choose to debit only $60, only they know. VERY MISLEADING

In regards to Ms. [redacted]’s complaint, it is clearly outlined on both the Green Trust Cash website and the Green Trust Cash loan agreement signed by Ms. [redacted], the cost of borrowing in terms of dollar amount, interest and the APR according to the principles of Federal Truth in Lending regulations. However, per our email conversation with Ms. [redacted] on 7/17/13, a mutually agreeable resolution has been reached to settle her loan.
Please be advised that Green Trust Cash prides itself on submitting timely responses to its customers’ inquiries and works diligently to resolve their individual concerns in a fair manner. We hope that we have answered all concerns, however, should there be any additional issues that need to be addressed please let us know.
They are horrible. Don't use them! They are not even legal in the state they reside....they claim to be a fed recognized tribe....that is a blatant lie and they are disgusting....I've now had to put a hold on all my stuff as they took ALL my credentials...made me call back 3 different times only to deny me cause my direct dep goes to savings first and not checking.... Really???!!! Scam!!!
Review: Green trust cash rep didn't tell me how the loan worked he basically told me that I would have a 1 time fee of $90 & I would make payments till it was pd off but they took an extra $60 out and the form I signed online was a 1 page form that didn't breakdown the loan agreement. When I sent them an email regarding this loan agreement they told me that they would stop payment but has been harrassing me ever since about the paymntDesired Settlement: Would like for them to refund the $60 plus the $90 for they didn't represent the loan agreement properly & because of the harrasment

Review: I am extremely dissatisfied with this company. Not only to they rape consumers of their money, they cheat the American public into believing that they are the best pay day lending company. My first complaint is that the customer service representative who processed my loan, was extremely fast in processing this loan. She did not ask me if I understood the terms and failed to explain that if I pay by my next pay date, that I could completely pay the loan off. This company is ridiculous. The terms need to be updated and customer service representatives need to be more responsible in explaining the loan to each customer! Poor customer service!Desired Settlement: My loan will be satisfied and paid on 01/15/16 of 364.00; I only borrowed 300.00 and paid two payments of 200.00 prior to the payment that will be deducted from my account on 01/15/16. Therefore I am requesting a refund of the two payments that I made of 200.00. (The customer service representative failed to assist me in completing this)

Complaint [redacted]
Green
Trust Cash takes all complaints very seriously and it is always unfortunate
when a customer is dissatisfied with our service or the services we have
provided.
Our
procedures and scripting are standardized to ensure consistency and that we
follow the applicable principles of Federal financial consumer law. Furthermore, the customer is provided access
to their contract prior to signing and documented within the contract is their
entire payment schedule as well as required Truth in Lending disclosures.
Our
website, script, and contract disclose that this is an expensive form of
borrowing and that we encourage the customer to make additional payments with
no prepayment penalties in an effort to save charges. Post approval the customer is also sent an e
mail recapping the structure of the transaction and an overview of what was
previously discussed during the underwriting process.
Upon
receipt of the complaint we reviewed Ms. [redacted]’s file, and listened to the
recording of the conversation relating to the underwriting process between Ms.
[redacted] and our representative and found that the representative followed the
script and procedures as trained. The
pace of the call was not rushed, and on numerous occasions as instructed per
the script our representative paused and asked if Ms. [redacted] had any
questions regarding the loan. We also reviewed
and listened to a subsequent call with Ms. [redacted] where she confirmed our
receipt of her signed contract, and as scripting dictates we again asked if she
had any questions regarding her loan.
As
we previously stated this is always an unfortunate situation that we take very
seriously. When we do make mistakes, and
that does occur we take full responsibility for our errors and make every
effort to satisfy the customer and rectify the situation. Our position based upon our review as noted
above is that we have found no wrong doing and our representative followed
procedure throughout the underwriting, and funding process, and payments were
drafted from Ms. [redacted]’s account as documented in the payment schedule
which is part of the loan contract Ms. [redacted] signed.
As
requested by Ms. [redacted] a payment in the amount of $364.00 has been set up
on her next payment due date 1/15/16 to pay her loan in full.
If
there are any further inquiries regarding Ms. [redacted]’s account feel free to
contact us at your earliest convenience, and thank you for the opportunity to
respond to this complaint.Sincerely,

Review: The original loan was for $500.00. I never had anyone from your company call to verify anything with me. The emails which were sent were in my spam folder. I applied and the money was in my account the next day with no one verifying anything! I recently found out this type of loan is illegal in my home state of Pennsylvania. I should have never been offered this loan in the first place. I have had 4 payments of $75.00 taken out of my account. I have paid $300.00 in finance fees and nothing towards interest. The loan details on your website are vague. The original loan dates keep changing to a current date. To date, my balance is $575.00. I would like to come to an agreement on this loan. I am reaching out to you in hopes to resolve this in good faith. Thank you for your time.Desired Settlement: My intention is to pay back what I borrowed. I don't have the financial means to pay this off in full with all these recurring finance fees.

Mrs. [redacted]
Re: Loan
#[redacted]
We are in receipt of Mrs. [redacted] complaint
and will address each item as noted. We take these matters very seriously, and
it is always unfortunate when a customer is dissatisfied with our service or
the services we have provided especially when they are a returning VIP.
Currently Mrs. [redacted] has a balance
of $330 on her loan, and as a VIP she did receive a discounted interest rate as
compared to a new customer, and this is illustrated on our website and
explained during the underwriting process.
The $2000 in interest she is speaking of relates to the minimum payment
schedule illustrated in her loan contract which she signed, and we are required
under TILA to provide to her.
We fully understand and communicate
that this is an expensive form of borrowing and encourage our consumers to make
additional payments to minimize charges that they incur. Furthermore, we caution our customers that
this product should not be used as a long term financial solution. In fact Mrs. [redacted] paid off her first loan
with us after 3 payments, which is an excellent use of the product.
As we previously stated we take these
matters very seriously and will review our underwriting process and e mail
communications to ensure we are communicating the aforementioned points clearly
and accurately. Additionally [redacted] from
our Account Resolution Department will be reaching out to Mrs. [redacted] to
facilitate an acceptable settlement of her account.
Thank you for your time and attention
and as always if you have any other questions or require additional information
do not hesitate contacting us at your earliest convenience.

Revdex.com,
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]They are lying about my balance amount I been making payments since April until july in total of 600.00 when I only got 400 dollars and under the O.R.C. they can only charge up to 28% and nothing more plus they have to be licensed under ohio law plus I no that they consider themselves as a tribal leaders but this is not fair attached is a emails about my loan balance and where they say it will mess up my credit.

It is always unfortunate
when a customer is dissatisfied with our service. In this case when the
balance of the loan was quoted it was the principal balance of the loan that
was owed at the time of the complaint. We are going to reach out to [redacted]
[redacted] and provide her a detailed schedule of her payments and how they were
applied to her principal and finance charges. Loan agreements are accessible anytime
to customers simply by visiting our website and logging in using the information

the loan with us as well as the information on the loan agreement she signed. We

Response:
I really disagree with what they said because they are trying to still get another 330.00 dollars out of me and after I got in touch with the Revdex.com now they want to work something out after calling me my job and e-mails I fill like they got payed in full I pay them enough money and I feel like they are getting over on people because they are a tribal loan. They are using the internet to get over on people who are in need of money. This is not right the interest is to high and when they take 100 dollars and only 10 dollars goes to your loan balance that is fraud.
I've had to deal with my fair share of Payday/Loan sharks but these guys are really the best. They're super nice and they always work with you. I'd recommend trying them first before going with any other lender.
This place is a SCAM DO NOT USE THERE SERVICES...IF YOU TAKE OUT A LOAN THEY CHARGE YOU A FINANCE FEE (which is typical ) and a PRINCIPLE FEE EVERY WEEK... SO IF YOU TAKE OUT A $300 LOAN AND PAY $50 A WEEK YOU WILL END UP PAYING $600 WHICH IS OUTRAGEOUS (principle fee) so bogus.
Review: I opened a loan with this company, and received a notice that I would receive $50 for an approved referral. I referred my mother to this company, who was denied, but was approved when she called in (minutes later). Upon approval, she gave them my information and the customer service representative was very rude and stated that it was too late and she should have done it the 1st time. I later called and asked to speak with a supervisor ([redacted]) who told me to have my mom to call in and give her the information and I would be credited. When my mother called in, she asked to speak with [redacted], however she received the same rude CSR from before who told her that HE was told to take the call and not [redacted] and he has already told her that I could not get the referral. It is bad enough that the interest rate is 429%, but to get bad customer service and false advertisement is absolutely ridiculous! I will never refer anyone or use this company again.Desired Settlement: I would like to be given my $50 referral credit.
