Green Street Consignment Shop

Review: Was told by sales person ([redacted] on 12/27/14 and manager ([redacted]l) 12/31/14 that [redacted] purse purchased was authentic as "Green Street Stands by their merchandise as authentic- we dont sell fakes" , yet had no written proof to verify this claim was given to me, I called [redacted] corporate in NYC and was told the ONLY way this item could be deterimed as authentic is if original proof of purchase was attached to purse which was not. The security code # in the purse is [redacted] which apparently means nothing per [redacted] Associate- need original proof of purchase to prove authenticity. I was told by [redacted] at Green Street that I had to go to a local [redacted] Store and get written notice from them that this is NOT A GENUINE [redacted] Purse to receive a credit back on my Credit Card for this purchase as "Green Street stands by their merchandise" even without the proper documentation. I feel it is their responsibity to prove to me that this item is genuine, not me. I am happy to pay for genuine merchandise. I feel totaly abused and taken by a local business in my home town. This is bad business at its heigth. I will continue to take all necessary steps to secure credit back on this merchandise that was paid with my [redacted] Credit Card on 12/17/14. I Placed a hold with [redacted] for the total amt of $937.27 on 12/29/14 #[redacted]Desired Settlement: If item is determined to be Genuine, complant will be cancelled. If not- I WANT MY MONEY BACK ASAP.
