Our time with Maximum Fitness started one way and quickly turned to a negative experience We were incorrectly charged When we brought this to the GM's attention and the assistant's attention, we were ignored After several requests and reminders, we finally got an answer that they called their billing company That was it No refund to date
Then the GM notified us that we coudld have a membership for our child Then he changed his mind and said no Then said we could but only for hour a day
After notifying the staff of the dumbbells coming loose and maintenance of the equipment, we got told members "abuse the equipment by using it too much." It is a gym We are supposed to The members are a respectful group and truly they make the place great It really came down to poor customer service/experience and changing policies which were discriminatory based on the fact that we have a child We are not aware of another family being told this same policy
