Review: I signed the contract with g[redacted] to remove my old gate opener and replace it with the new one, make the gate and Garage to work and open simultaneously. He stated that his office close distance to my house as a result he is able to respond immediately to any issue with the gate in the future, because he is all about customer service. He persists to be paid in cash. He took my credit card information as a down payment but he stated with this price must be paid in cash. I could not leave the house sooner than 13:00 since his worker left his equipment under my watch to go to home depot. I got to the bank was closed, used ATM got $1000 for him but when I called to ask him to pay rest tomorrow he start shouting and using foul language, threatened me if he doesnt get all his money in cash now. I told him to use the credit card he was really mad and scary at that time. I had to drive to another bank which thankfully was open to get the rest of his money. He stated he has an office but he works from his house. He appeared unstable when he wouldn't get his way. At this time any guarantee and customer service is out the door because I am rather not to deal with him or contact him for any issues with his work. I am trying to preventing others dealing with the same horror story.Desired Settlement: To have my gate and garage door work together, and the keypad at the side of the house to be programed to open the gate with code. He got paid in full all in cash yet did not sign the customer copy to say he is paid in full. Also who guarantees his customer service for the future?

This letter is in response to customer [redacted]'s complaint
against Green Homes Design Builders.
1. Green Homes never promised to· the customer that we
would make sure the gate and garage door would be on
the same remote. We told her that IF the 2 frequencies
were the same we could do it but if they were different
that it could NOT be done.
2. Our office is located fairly close to the customer's
residence and we informed her that if there were any
issues that came up we would send a technician that same
day; this is part of our normal procedure for handling
previous customers.
3. At the time that the contract was signed, the customer
stated that she did not have a check for the deposit. She
was then asked for a credit card to secure the purchase of
materials for her job. It is not the policy of Green Homes to
purchase over $1000 worth of material without some kind
of payment being made. The customer was informed that
if she chooses to use a- credit card that there would be an
additional charges that would cover the cost of our
merchant account charging us a small percentage of the
sale. The customer was also informed that because of the
great deal she was already getting we could not lower the
price to cover the cost of the credit card charges. We
informed the customer that we do not start a job without
have some kind of payment and that by law we need to
get a deposit in order to keep job moving forward. The
customer informed us that "as soon as you finish the job, I
will pay you in full."
4. When we finish the Tile installation the customer told our
installer that she would be going to the bank to receive
money for this job, and that she would be back with $2000
in cash but not the full $2200. When the installer asked
her why, she told him that she wanted to see the work
complete before she paid. Then as the owner of the
company, I, Shalom Shimon called her and she told that
the ATM had not given her more than $500. So I again
asked her to go into the bank and get the money that was
due to Green Homes. She told me the bank was closed
already It was Saturday December 14 2013. At 11:00are
and we could have sent the call log and time if needed.
The customer got upset because I asked her what bank
shed was with in order to verify that her bank was in fact
closed.
5. I spoke to the customer at great lengths informing her that
in order to keep her as a customer we had to do a lot of
things to keep the job moving forward. I then asked her to
show us some respect by holding her end of the deal up
which was to make payment on the job which was
completed and we made sure everything worked
perfectly. Since the next day was Sunday I was not willing
or able to wait till Monday to get paid. I had used my own
funds to complete the job.
6. The original contract amount was for $2300 after the gate
opener was already purchased with funds that were not
from her because she hadn't paid anything yet, she called
me and told me that another company called her and
offered the same job at $2100. I felt I had no choice, even
though I had a signed contract with her, I gave her a
discount and I told her I would do the job for $2200 and
that I would not be able to go any lower than that.
7. Lastly, I am the owner of Green Home Design Builders and
GSM garage doors, gates and fences and I have always
respected the people I work for and work for me. Age is
not a factor when it comes to respect I have always
respected people of any age and that is why the people
that work for me and with me are happy to do so.
8. Please note the following:
The opener cost was $1100
To relocate post with concrete cost me $300
Gate opener installation cost me $350
The projected profit would have been $450 (not including
cost of overhead, insurance, bonds, and other costs). I
have paid out of my pocket FOUR TIMES the amount that
was projected to be my profit. This job was a great deal at
$2700 and well worth every penny.
