I am rejecting this response because: The contractor did not acknowledge that he made mistakes and was offended that as a customer I have a right to critique the work being performed in my home that I'm paying forI need to know that he understand that Licensed workers on this project were requiredAnd I would appreciate a written apology

Tuesday August 9, 2:07 AM after she was completely happy when we left that day, "They more I look at they tile job, the more worried and less impressed I have become. I have done research and there should not be that wide of a gap in the corners where the tile meets the other tile. (Ms [redacted] was...
looking at the 1/4 inch grout line which was to keep it all standard with the rest of the grout lines.) The tile needs to be butted up flush in all directions. Please come remove these tile pieces they need to be cut more precisely and tighter in the corners and placed correctly as I'm not happy or pleased with what I see. August 9 2:41 AM I have been very understanding and cooperative with the unforseen circumstances that has arisen (material issue). I truly don't understand why they've made this bathroom construction longer than it should have been. I want to know can you find someone else to finish the job or do I need to find another contractor? My response is: As of agreed start date, it took a total of 16 man hours (2 people) 1 day for demo, had to replace the shower hardware which considers new mixer valve, new shower hardware, as replacement of the new fixtures had to shut water off to the whole home. As we get to the main shut off valve to the house, we discover a leak on her side of the water main. Repaired that, at no extra cost. As of being approximately 95% complete everything was looking wonderful to the homeowner on August 8. August 9 at 2 AM I began receiving text messages from client basically firing me. Total price of job was $1,750.00 to remove and replace existing bathtub, tile and fixtures. 50% deposit was required on initial start. Final payment due on completion. August 10 I should have been 100% complete. The remaining grout work and sealant which was not equal to the remaining balance. Anybody can run grout.
