Review: I am self-employed in online sales. One of the websites that I sell on is [redacted]. On October **, 2014, I received an e-mail from [redacted] telling me that an item I had listed for sale (a screen printed Black Keys gig poster designed by the artist Landland) was removed because "[a] trademark holder has identified your item[...]as being an infringement of their trademark." The e-mail address associated with the person or group who reported me was [redacted]. The print that I was selling is an authorized printing that I purchased directly from the artist. In addition, the image can be seen on The Black Keys' official [redacted] page, showing that the band (and/or their label, promoters, etc.) authorized the image. I e-mailed GrayZone the same day (October **), but have not heard back. I also contacted [redacted] who did reply, but said that they "cannot expose [their] company to lawsuits from brands on products [they] do not own." I tried to file a Revdex.com complaint at that time, but since GrayZone was not listed on Revdex.com, I was not able to. Just today, I saw that I could make a complaint about an unlisted company. I did attempt to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, and I have a reference number for that complaint, but I have not yet received a followup from the FTC. I am legally allowed to sell this item under the First Sale Doctrine, detailed at [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like a letter apologizing for this issue. I would like the letter to state that I can re-list this item for sale on [redacted], or anywhere else I see fit, without any further interference from GrayZone, or anyone associated with GrayZone.
