neighborhood.We spend approx. 2,000.00/acre on chemicals and beneficial nematodes annually.Chemicals applied three times annually are as a preventative for weeds, diseases and insect control. The nematodes are microscopic insects treated with a bacteria specifically designed to kill grubs and other insects - applied at a rate of Ten Million/acre applied twice annually through our sprinkler system.We are currently cutting sod at a furious pace and have received no other complaint concerning sod quality.In 18 years, we have never gone out and treated (or paid to treat) sod that we have sold for any reason.
