I contacted Grant & Weber after I found out I had $505.02 collection charge when I applied for a personal loan. They weren't willing to settle on a lower amount but offered to drop the $24.94 interest charges leaving a balance of $480.00. I paid $240.00 one week and the remaining portion on Tues. of the following week. The first payment was done using their website and the second I called and paid directly to them because I wanted to make sure I would get a receipt either emailed or mailed to me. Both payments posted right away but my account on their website it still shows a balance of $264.94. I have called several times and each time I am told that I have a zero balance but they are unable to email me a confirmation that the bill was paid in full. They told me my receipt was being mailed right away and I have yet to get it in the mail. I am very disappointed with their lack of service if I lived closer I would personally go and speak to someone.
