Review: Dear Sir/Madam:

I am writing to you about my former dentist, Granite Bay Smiles located at [redacted]. Recently I wrote them to dispute on a benefit statement submitted by my dental insurance group. It was not even a bill.

To make a long story short, recently I got a collection letter saying that I have refused to pay the amount of $140.00 from my dental office. They have not even sent me a bill for this amount or even discussed this bill with me. I was shocked that they send this to a collection agency.

I have previously paid $1417.00 on 1/31/2014 for partial denture and $126.00 on 1/22/2014.

This is not right. They should have discussed this with me before sending this to a collection agency

An amount of $140.00 would ruin my credit which I have maintained meticulously over the years and I did not want that. Could you please put me on record as having this complaint against this company.

This is the second or follow up letter that I am writing to you about my former dentist, Granite Bay Smiles Located at [redacted].

Beside the complaint I have in my first letter, I went to their office on 02/23/2015 asking to be treated on an emergency basis because I have an unbearable pain in my lower left gum because of a

abscess tooth that was causing me great pain.

And loo and behold, I was told I could not accommodated right away because they were fully booked tha day but to come back the next day to see an oral surgeon who would examine me and may recommend that the tooth will be pulled what. What happened to their professional ethics and professional courtesy.

I have been their patient for almost 2 years and have partial denture made that have costs me at least $1,700.00
