Review: I put twenty dollars in the machine to add to my laundry card and the money did not go on the card. This was in July of 2012 and I have followed the laundry mats procedure for refund and have not received a response in over a year of trying. I have spoke to a dozen laundry clerks who all say the same "Fill out a blue card or call this number and ask for [redacted]. I have repeatedly done both for over a year and I want my refund.Desired Settlement: I will take a check, Cash, Or a loaded laundry card with $20 plus the two dollar bonus.
Review: I purchased a cash card in order to use the Grande Laundry Place Sept. 2014. I specifically asked how the card gets refunded when I purchased the card. I was told the card would be cashed out any time onsite at the laundry. I was told an attendant was always on site and would do it any time I was ready to cash it out. The ease and convenience of the cash card was stressed, but it is actually an excessive time wait and a lot of leg work and time for me to get my card cashed out. When I went to cash out the card, the attendant told me I would have to make arrangements with the manager and the manager was not available until Wednesday, four days later. The attendant gave me a phone number and their email address. I have left 2 messages because, even during business hours, a person does not answer the phone. There is only the option to leave a message. I also emailed with my request and have not received an answer, either by phone or email. There is only $7.51 credit on the card. The business makes it so difficult to get a refund, they hope I just give up.Desired Settlement: I would like $7.51 refunded to me. The business needs to tell customers the truth about their refund policy. I would not have paid for the cash card if it could not be cashed out by the attendant on site anytime as I was told. The problem and effort it takes to cash out their card needs to be on file with the Revdex.com so other customers will be aware of the problem and use a laundry where you pay for what is used. There is no reason for the laundry to hold money in advance for service.
