I received an advertisement from Solon Pre-Owned, and according to the scratch-off sheet enclosed, I'd won $ Just show up and claim your prize!!! On arriving, before I even said a word, a salesperson started to walk me through the "non-prize winning form" to explain why I didn't really win what I thought I'd won When I complained that this sounded like a scam, his boss - from across the tent (they were operating out of a [redacted] parking lot) tells me rather loudly that I need to stop causing trouble and leave I said I was only there because of their deceptive ad - and he told me if I didn't leave he'd call the cops! Before I could reply, the other salesmen start telling me that I need to leave because I'm "scaring the customers" I hadn't even been there all of minutes When I told them I'd be contacting the Revdex.com, several of them told me not to 'waste my time' because nothing would come of it (they knew from prior experience?) I'm still shaking my head
I would like to site two things that I noticed when I bought a car from Solon Pre Owned, first buying the car was a positive and enjoyable experience, especially with the sales person MattHowever on the back-end, I ran into some problems, after I have bought the car the dealership took over days to pay off my trade in at the time, resulting in a big hit on my credit (which I am still working on fixing), then after that additionally after days I went to the DMV to get my plates, and the DMV told me that the dealer never sent over the paperwork stating that I had purchased the vehicle

The advertising practices of Solon Preowned are purposefully deceptive. They send a card for a "Cash Game" that makes it look like you have won a significant prize. Even calling the phone number and reading the fine print does not give any indication that you have not actually won the prize indicated. Upon going to the address on the card and speaking in person with a salesman, it became clear that this is an ongoing scam they use to draw people in even though the salesman admitted a lot of people are very angry when they realize they've been tricked. This is an extremely deceptive and unprofessional way to operate a business and I want other consumers to be aware of it.
