*** advised he has been in contact with the consumerThe company investigated and found the cracks in the concrete came from the water that has settled underneath the concreteThe frigid temperatures from frost and freezing
caused the cracks*** also has *** *** *** *** (*** *is the owner) going to the consumers house to also do a follow-up*** alleges the cracks were not caused by the craftsmanship of the business
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. As far as we know, no one from Gradeworks has been to the house to see the damage. We were not home on 7/10 when [redacted]. from [redacted] came out to see the cracks. He called and told us that this happens a lot but there was no further explanation as to why the cracks were directly over the newly installed pipe. If the project was backfilled and compacted correctly, how did water get under the concrete and cause the cracks, and how do we know that it won't continue?
Regards,
[redacted]
