Thank you for speaking with me on how to resolve this complaintI have just returned from being out of the country for a training event which is why my response time is beyond the initial day periodThe complaint in question was resolved on May 28, 2017. The complaint against me
was brought to my attention on May 25, through email by a former studentIt was clear the student was upset with certain operating procedures of my business and requested a refund of his tuitionThinking there may have been a misunderstanding, I promptly responded back to him explaining the reasoning behind my operating procedures and why they were necessary in hopes this would clear up any potential misunderstandingsThe student's response to my email made it evident they were not interested in working through the situationWhile my business had legal grounds to retain the students tuition, I refunded the student's tuition as they had requested in order to prevent further escalation of the situationIn the final correspondence between the student and myself, I stated that I was still willing to discuss this situation further once I returnedI have not received any further correspondence from the former student and therefore am assuming the complaint has been resolved I appreciate the opportunity to provide my explanation of the situation.
