My mother was a resident in their community and passed away on 11-22-19. Hunter Creek accepted the end of her lease on 12-15-19 and told us that we would need to pay All of December's rent, but would promptly receive a check for the 2nd half of December in the first week of January. In January, rather than sending us a reimbursement check for prepaid rent in the latter half of December, they stole A Full months rent out of her account. At this point we are now due ~$1862 ($1236 full months rent + ~ $626 for December).
I have spent the entire month of January working with them to pin down the final amount (verbally they keep reducing the amount), where the check will be mailed and WHEN the check will be mailed. Today, the last day of the month, again, I'm still getting the run around. I am formalizing this complaint as I now have lost complete confidence in their sense of fairness, both legally and morally. I seek reimbursement of prepaid rent in December and Money they stole in January ASAP. I also think they should compensate for time spent on this matter by me.

A copy of the check that was sent in the full amount of the refund owed, a copy of the address label and also a confirmation/receipt of delivery of the package. Also, Mrs. was not a resident here at Grace Manor at Hunters Creek. She resided at Hunter Creek Retirement Community. I was the property manager over both properties at the time of this complaint. We are two completely different entities and are not recognized as the same.
