Was called to service a furnace under customers home warrantyThe equipment showed extreme signs of improper service and the warranty company does not cover thatI advised homeowner of the replacement options and the homeowner chose the lesser cost route and just replace the furnaceGrace air returned within two hours to do the jobAfter two months a ground wire cracked causing customer not to heatCustomer left me a message that morning verbally threatening me and Grace air stating he had a connection inside the Revdex.com that would negatively effect meI returned his call and said I would try and get out that day but was unable to and tried that evening to let him know but did not answer call or return the callCalled back the next morning and was out mid day to repair the wireGot call Thursday from customer again threatening me with action from his Revdex.com connections and other things being very inappropriate towards me because he had cooling issuesGrace air was not given the no cool from the warranty company so unsure of what had transpired to this point Customers equipment is very old so could develope issuesAfter a few minutes of customer threatening me with Revdex.com inside connections that he said he has I advised I would look at the furnace and situation but said doesn't want me out at his home and with his violent nature I'm not sure grace air needs to be in that situation Grace air has never said they do not care about a customer or a customers situation

I HAVE NEVER THREATENED ANYONE AT GRACE AIRI AM NOR SURE HOW JUST REFUSING TO TAKE CARE OF ANYTHING HELPS THEIR CASE IF THEY WOULD LIKE TO COME OUT AT MY CONVENIENCE, IT IS THEIR RIGHT TO DO SOESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THE UNIT IS STILL UNDER THE INSTALLERS WARRANTY I WILL EXPECT THEM TO PROPERLY PERMIT AND REPAIR TO CODE THE FURNACE THAT THEY INSTALLED FURTHERMORE I WILL, IF FEASIBLE, HAVE A CITY INSPECTOR OR HOME INSPECTION AGENT PRESENT TO SIGN OFF ON REPAIRS

I checked my records and the repair was made on April 10th of which is within months. A copy of the check is attached. A copy of the Grace Air & Heat invoice is also attached stating the warranty at the bottom.. As stated in my compliant, I called the phone number ###-###-#### several times in an attempt to have a qualified technician investigate the inspection report findings. After a week and of half of attempts, I was forced to call another qualified technician to come investigate the repair so that I could have everything finished before closing of the house. That qualified technician found poor soldering from the joint that was repaired by Grace which was causing the leak noted by the home inspector. I have attached the invoice from the resulting repair. They had to replenish the refrigerant (lbs) that had leaked at a cost of $46.50. The cost of shop supplies to repair the joint was $25.00. The cost of labor was $90.00. The only way I will accept a response is if Grace Air and Heat mails me a check for $to *** *** ** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** ** ***

None of my resolutions were accepted or metI will contact them and give them the chance to come out and resolve the issues one last timeI will not be satisfied until a permit is pulled ant the unit is up to code and installed up to today's standards

We have given home owner options to flook at the system and options given are not what the home opener wantsAs of now we as a company refuse to go back out to the home due to the nature of threats home owner keep threating

Grace Air did not determine the situation and does not take others opinion on diagnosis without without our senior techs diagnosisWithout vital pieces of information it will remain unclear of what issues were present at this time thank you

Diagnosed system low on freon and added with leak stop customer was aware aOf repair at the timeLater found leak in evaporator and advised homeowner that coil will need to be replaced but will not be charged for freon again per her AHS contractPriced charges with warranty company and talked to
homeowner about charges per her contract with AHS Homeowner then got upset not wanting to listen to my explanation and also has gotten multiple explanations from the warranty company but refuses to except the situationStill gave customer multiple opportunities to get coil replaced and back to cooling but repeatedly declined to schedule repairCustomer has sent multiple emails asking for the same info she has gotten multiple times so grace air has at this time declined to replace until customer is willing to accept the situation according to both her AHS contract and grace airs charges on replacement

After a month period a new claim with the warranty company needs to be submittedIf no more warranty and would still need issue addressed Grace Air would be able to come out to the home and give diagnosisA home inspector is not a qualified technician and issue would need to be looked at by a
professionalTo schedule an appointment with grace air and heat please call ###-###-####At time of phone call service fee will be quoted to come out and determine issue with system and resolution

Grace Air returned back to home to re evaluate the customers issueThe AC was cooling at a temp of degreesThe txv that was was replaced was working and cooling home as it should beWe are open to giving the customer a refund of as we told the Customer to make amends to themBut the
freon is a non refundable item

They have not addressed any of the complaint.  They have not agreed to any of my resolutions, and have not offered any of their own.. They state the equipment is old.. They just replaced it.. They left a cooling line loose and did not install the new equipment correctly or up to code.. Nor did they pull any permits..I don't see any of this addressed in their answer..

Freon was added to this customers system to get proper cooling. Grace air makes customer aware of the additional fee to add freon before any is added to a system. Customer agreed to the 120 for refrigerant so it was added. Refrigerant is non refundable due to its not a part. That is why Grace air...

gets customer approval first before repairing there air conditioner.  If customer for any reason is not cooling at this time they can submit another call and would put them on the schedule for a second look.

Then this complaint will remain unresolved.
