Review: Gowrie insurance acted as insurance broker and sold a health insurance plan to me. At the time of sale, the deductible was represented to me as $5,000 per person on the plan, or $10,000 per family (whichever limit is reached first). Subsequent correspondence indicates that this is not being honored and the deductible is being changed to $10,000 per family only. The certificate of coverage supplied when I signed up shows $5,000 per person or $10,000 per family.Desired Settlement: I would like the original deductible of $5,000 per person or $10,000 per family (whichever limit is reached first), as represented when I signed up for this plan and shown in the certificate of coverage, to be honored.
