We are quite disappointed to read
this complaintWe really pride ourselves on our customer service and willingness to go above and beyond in most situationsTotal Comfort has been working with this customer to resolve this issue for the last few weeks and we had come to what we thought was a very generous resolution
This customer is asking us to pay their propane bill from fall through the end of January including fees as a result of their failure to maintain proper propane levels in their tankThe propane consumption also included their domestic propane hot water heater and their propane furnace when the heat pump system would have been disabled during outdoor ambient conditions below degrees Fahrenheit
If the heat pump functioned correctly from the fall through the end of January the customer would be responsible for the electric bill not Total ComfortWe determined the cost difference between operating the heat pump system -vs- the propane furnace is $Because of the customers inconvenience, we sent a check for more than twice that amount
We are happy and willing to resolve any issues that relate to our installation, but we will not pay their entire heating/domestic hot water bill for that time frame

I spoke with both *** & *** todayWe were able to get the refund check cut and mailed todayIt was a series of unfortunate circumstancesI appreciate their feedback and explained everything to themHopefully something like this doesn't happen in the future
