I tried phoning their toll free number and a customer representative picked up, I heard music on the radio there playing in the background, they never said a word, not even hello, and hung up on me with no shameI tried again for a second timeThe same thing happened all over againDon't do business with Gordon Food Service, whatever you do
Very rude, very ignorant and very unprofessional performance

I have been a customer with Gordons for years as a business customermy billing has been net My complaint begins with doing a cost analysis of food costI understand that you may pay more for delivery vs buying at one of their storesI was alarmed to find that my most used items were nearly 300% higher than what I could by them at a storeI found no methodology in the pricing other than ordering volume frequency results in greater mark ups for more frequently ordered itemsI had a meeting with my rep Jim L***He was apologetic and offered a small creditHe had no answer for me as to their pricing structure delivery vs storeThe only difference I can see is an expensive delivery costthere has never been any value added serviceActually it has been the oppositeThe answers have been evasive at every level and a total lack of transparencyI asked to speak to his supervisor Bob K***My conversation with MrK*** was very unproductiveWhen I asked about pricing,tra
