On 2/26/16, a refund check was requested which Mr. [redacted] accepted to satisfy his concern. Goodyear considers this matter closed.
I am rejecting this response because:
The car was dropped off with no damage. The walk around to look for previous damage was not done with me there because I dropped it off the night before. It was parked in their parking lot, in a regular spot. allowing any car or other vehicle to hit it. on their property. They were not corporative or helpful like I said with me. I'm extremely surprised a huge corporation like Good Year does not take care of their customers when there is an issue like this.

I am awaiting a refund for the two tires purchased. the refund is full price for one and half price for the second tire due to a nail puncture. Thank you for your assistance.

This customer visited our store in January with several issues including an overheating problem. In May he contacted our company about continued issues with his truck. If in fact there is a blown head gasket it was not caused by an oil change, which was explained to the customer. We do not accept...

Review: After dropping my vehicle off to Goodyear in Gretna, I received a phone call clearing stating that for "new brake service it'll be $77". In the past I've had issues with this company but this encounter was by far ridiculous. I went to pick up my vehicle, after not being contacted when it was ready to be told my total was $776 and some change. I explained to the person that that was not the price quoted on the phone. And that had I known, I would not have agreed. Also, there was and extra "flushing" that I did not ask for. Not knowing what to do, I proceeded to pay and asked for a military discount. He replied, " I can give you a better discount, for your birthday". After looking at my receipt, the discount total for my $700 + bill was $9. I was outraged. I looked at previous receipts from brake work done on the same car from the same place and there was a $200 markup on the price. The difference was that my brother in law took the car in. I went back the next day with this information and the clerk, automatically stated "hats how much it is now". Before I told her anything about a price difference. She attempted to give me an email to contact the district manager but changed her mind and gave me a number, which was the employee benefits sign up number. She finials got in contact with customer service I placed a complaint and they said they would get in contact with the store manager, which was the same person I had the initial encounter with, and get back to me, I hadn't heard back from them. I went back to the store and stated my issue to the same store manager, saying that for a new brake system I should've gotten new rotars also and my other concerns. Instead of anyone being concerned, empathetic, I was told, well that'll cost you extra. I believe it was outrageous to pay that much for brakes and not get what was promised, and something added I didn't ask for.Desired Settlement: I would like an acknowledgment of my issue by way of an apology. I felt no one was empathetic to my feelings. I'd also like a price match for the previous purchase. I felt since I was female, I was easy to take advantage of. And lastly, my military discount to be applied also.
