purchased drill, battery and charger on 9/28/17 from shopgoodwill on line.had taken 9 days to receive item their listing says within 5 days. received on 10/11/17. item does not work at all needs new battery and charger ad then I dont know if the drill or light even works. have sent 4 emails to their customer service within last week am not getting any answers from them. I think they are ignoring me. I asked to return item and get full refund

I purchased two clocks from Goodwill - Midlands S. Carolina. (GOODWILL IND MIDLANDS SC). Both clocks were shipped in separate packages. Each clock was damaged. Each clock had broken pieces and both clocks were packaged with very little protection and in some spots, there was no protection at all. This packaging was so bad it wasn't even a question of opinion. I took pictures and sent them to Goodwill of Midlands SC. When I complained, they sent me a single return label which I used to ship both clocks back. When I commented about not receiving the shipping and handling charges back, they told me that the packages were shipped to their standards and they were sorry that the item arrived in "less than stellar condition" which was rather insulting. I gained nothing but expense from this transaction. They received both of the items back and kept the handling charges and refused to give me a refund on shipping. This was obviously their fault and I shouldn't incur any expense.
I just spoke with K Z and told her we would refund both her return shipping and purchase price. She seemed happy with that.
Now I have to find the guy who was not as customer service-oriented as we like our people to be.
