Goodcare by CPCI

It took them three months to finish  transaction talking to lincare a company that preview same services it should have only taken a week maybe two not three months. And the lady on the phone was very rude not just not rendering  service.as stated in there reply . Rude and unexceptible. Will not trust or use this business.  Will use lincare .

Mr [redacted], the son of our client [redacted], entered complaint that our staff was rude, and would not provide cane ordered by his physician. Family/patient wished cane to be billed to Medicare. Medicare coverage requires that we receive extensive medical documentation from ordering...

physician prior to dispensing the cane. Physician not cooperative in providing documentation, despite repeated requests, on a timely basis. Complainant became very frustrated and upset because we would provide cane until medical documentation received. Complainant/patient could have elected to purchase cane privately ($25.00), but refused to do so, requesting that we submit claim to Medicare. Complainant visited our office a couple times in the interim to inquire about progress in obtaining documentation, and to request cane, and certainly interpreted our refusal to dispense the cane as rude. Per Medicare guidelines, we had no alternative; the item cannot be provided patient until all documentation received by provider.Since this event, Goodcare by CPCI has implemented policy to not accept Medicare assignment on any item under $50.00
