The mother came in on Wednesday, April 23rd and asked where her daughter's earrings wereShe asked that I call her, but I hadn't returned her call as I was trying to check on the situationWhen I came in at 9:a.mthe staff informed me of
the incidentI then asked every staff member if they had seen earrings in her child's earsEvery staff member told me the same thing, they had not noticed the child wearing any earringsI even contacted staff that were not here for the dayAfter I had talked to each staff member, I dumped out the vacuum cleaner canister and dug through all of the contents to see if the earrings had been vacuumed upI also looked around the classroom to see if they were on the floor anywhereMom called and I told her no one had seen them, or even noticed that her daughter was wearing any earringsI know losing a valuable item such as this is very disheartening, however I honestly do not believe that any of our staff took the earrings

Good Shepherd refuses to take responsibility for their employees' actionsFurthermore, please note how their response did not address there reprisal action of terminating the childcare service for my daughter on the spot
The only acceptable solution for this is Good Shepherd refunding the value of my daughter's earrings and a written apology admitting their inappropriate reaction to this event
