The individual brought in a cylinder head for SURFACING ONLY. That is how it was written up on his invoice. He did not request an inspection or measurement of the head. As you could see by their invoice ( if they provided it for you to review) that it states, and they signed for "SURFACE ONLY". And at the bottom of the receipt is clearly states "NO OTHER WORK PERFORMED OR GUARANTEED OTHER THAN THAT LISTED". They were also warned that the head was surfaced beyond factory spec,also on the noted on the receipt. They requested one thing and that is exactly what they got. It appears that they are unhappy with what they requested and want someone else to compensate them for THEIR OWN mistake. Yes the head was surfaced but only the amount necessary to clean the surface. Who is to say weather the head had been surfaced before or not. IF THE HEAD WAS JUNK, IT WAS PROBABLY JUNK WHEN IT CAME IN AND NOTHING WAS REQUESTED OTHER THAN WHAT THEY GOT.
