Golightly Gas Line Services

Review: We purchased a home in August 2013. As part of the purchase contract, the seller hired Golightly Gas Services to repair a clogged, underground sewer line. This required removal of a section of sidewalk between the driveway and front porch and rerouting of an existing downspout to a new pipe under the yard. By October 2013, the new section of sidewalk began to bow due to significant settling and erosion of the dirt used to fill the large hole created during this repair. It took over one year and numerous requests for this company to return to repair the sidewalk. In that time, the dirt continued to settle, the new downspout cracked and became disconnected from the new pipe, and water now collects near our foundation. The contractor is aware of this problem but has yet to return to complete the needed downspout repair despite repeated requests.Desired Settlement: An acceptable settlement would be immediate completion of the downspout repair and replacement of the eroded dirt. If this company cannot complete the work in a timely manner, I request reimbursement for the cost of the repair.
