Review: The ATM trailer that I used on N. Mississippi Ave. advertised "FREE ATM" but there is actually a charge of $4.50 per transaction. I did not find this out until after my transactiononly because my $40 withdrawal only dispensed $20at which point I looked everywhere for someone to help me, then finally found a phone number in very small print. Next to this small print, someone had used a sharpie to scratch off whatever wording was underneath, writing $4.50 next to it. The phone number that I called went to an automated response. The options given always led back to the automated response, or hung up. I am currently filling a dispute with my bank in order to refund my money.

Goldstar ATM should not be allowed to advertise as free. They should also operate machines that work. I would like them to refund my $20.

Further Resolution: We would be more than happy to refund the individuals $4.50 surcharge fee due to the misunderstanding of the advertisement on the trailer. The disputed $20 however must go through the proper process that verifies the validity, then credits or debits accounts involved in the transaction. If the customer would like the $4.50 refunded please have them send a copy of the receipt, name and address for mailing the refund and a letter requesting the refund to:

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
It is not worth my time or my privacy to mail the business my information for a refund. I have already contacted my bank to refund my $20. What I would prefer is that they do not advertise as being a "free" service if they are charging $4.50 per transaction. It pains me to think about how many other people were scammed into believing they weren't being charged to use this service.

Thank you
