I don't think you can trust this company, more than a week ago I tired to contact one of the a adjuster, called a few times, email, but not even one respond
I am 40 and this experience so, far with Golden State Claims Adjusters appears to be the worst service company I have ever dealt with an just appears to be a fraud of a company. Set up to drag out claims for paying insurance companies. Took two weeks for me to be assigned an adjuster. Not good even by the insurance industry guidelines. The claim is undisputed by the insured. Why is there and adjuster even assigned. Please provide 3 estimates and pick one is usually the routine. However, I am given an adjuster that lives in California and I live in Tennessee and the insured lives in Virginia. Smart as a wipe there. Fraud. Then told to go through my insurance company as their process takes up to 30 days. ???? Insured's vehicle jumped out park, ran across field and hit my truck. Pictures show it on two wheels. Noticed I said wheels, as the tires where popped. My insurance, State Farm, said I should of called the police and got a police report of the incident the night it happened. Well, insured admitted it happened, wasn't going to dispute it. And on private property on a farm a mile from any county road. So, being a uncontested claim I started calling about a week later. To advise that my insurance company preferred they handle their own mess and keep them out of it. Well, left 2 messages that week. No return call. One a day for the next month. No call backs and in the end line didn't have a answer machine. Line switched to fax. So, started calling the insured's in insurance company. They know nothing. BS. You hired them. they don't keep you informed weekly on progress. Oh not when the goal is to drag it out and ware you out. Finally find out after demanding to speak to a manager at Preferred contractors insurance company that that adjuster no longer works their. Well, first off. How would they know. Next they give me the toll free number to Golden State claims adjusters. Which has no greeting ... straight to music playing ... 3 minutes later some answers phone and in all reality sounded like she was in the kitchen cooking something. She is the receptionist that confirms Ruth doesn't work their any longer. Well did it ever occur to you that when you split up her case load that a email be sent to them informing them of the new adjuster to contact. Or to at least not have an ambiguous answer machine telling you to call the main switchboard of better yet to call forward her calls to the new adjuster. No their solution was to turn the phone to fax. Making me go through the whole process I just decribed. Why to where you out. It is a fraud Service company. If you have a similar experience. Contact your dept of insurance in your state as well as California. Won't be long before we are notified by some lawyer outfit to be part of a class action suit is my guess. Hand in there and don't give up. That's what they are paid to make you do.
