Review: I pawned items with this pawnshop and due to unexpected circumstances, I was not able to make it in to pay on my pawn ticket by the 30th day. With the assumption that I still was in the 15 day grace period window, I went in to pay on my pawn at which time my payment was refused & I was told since I was past my 30 days, I had to wait 15 days for them to hold my items & once that time period elapsed, I could then purchase my items back for the total amount of what they were then reselling it in the store for which came out to be over 2-3 times the amount of my initial loan. I have also never been allowed to pay just the interest amount of the pawn or before my 30 days allowing my loan to be extended for another 30 days. Instead, you have to pay the total pawn ticket amount first & then you can turn around & re-pawn such item. I have dealt with other well known pawnshops in the area (ALL of which follow such guidelines listed above that Golden Goat does NOT follow or comply with.)Desired Settlement: I would like to pay ONLY the amounts listed on the pawn ticket(s) in order to re-possess my items & I will then cease any & all future business relationships with Golden Goat Pawn. Furthermore, I will not go forward with my pursuing of any such further legal actions to be taken out against Golden Goat Pawn for "illegally" taking possession of such pawned items using such methods as refusing to take the full payment amount due while still in the 15 day grace period window, ect.
