Review: We payed a total of $6275.09 to Golden Eagle Log Homes as a deposit on a building package which included complete custom blueprints on an original home design of ours. We experienced poor quality issues with our sales person and a lack of his ability to effectively communicate our wishes to the home design team. This led us to terminate our home package purchase with this company. The design of the home was stopped prior to receiving any finished blueprints or materials for the home. We emailed the owner of the company in regards to this issue but he cited the no purchase, no refund clause of the contract we signed with them. We cited the quality issues we experienced, but he was unwilling to negotiate at all about a refund, and refused to acknowledge any quality issues on their part. We have since started all over with a new home designer and our home is currently under construction. Had we experienced higher quality design and customer service we absolutely would have completed our purchase of a log home package with Golden Eagle Log Homes.Desired Settlement: Refund our $6275.09 deposit that we paid for the design and blueprints of our home package.

Neither of us will ever truely understand the real reason the [redacted] are unhappy with Golden Eagle Log Homes. We did everything we were suppose to do. But it probably is the disappointment of them not being able to afford their dream home. We have been working with the [redacted]'s since March of 2012 and we have over 120 recorded emails with the [redacted]'s in our CRM.
