Please do not use Gold Standard Estate Sales, do your homework, your family means everything, Jimi Etherington doesn’t handle situations like an adult, he is very degrading and puts people down. STAY AWAY

Jimi Etherington, the owner of Gold Standard Estate Sales is The biggest rip off company in California. If you value your families estate do not trust this guy to do an estate sale for you. He is dishonest, he calls the customers racist, Karen’s and is, can you imagine what he saying about your family if he’s running your state sale. He does not know how to communicate he’s very ignorant with his company. He claims it’s a minority and he’ll never ever lose his minority status and that he’s a largest estate company in California well that needs to stop because he’s ripping people off and he’s a liar.

This company is totally bogus. Just want to take advantage of people with no real interest in having an estate sale or making the clients any money. I cannot impress on people enough not to get involved with this horrible company.

We had a very poor experience with Gold Standard Estate Sales. Although their website states they have integrity we found that they did not follow through on the promises they made. For example, their employee did not leave the key in lockbox as was promised. Next, the owner said he was in the area and would bring the key to our house. He never did. The key was never returned and we had to have a locksmith to the house. The owner said he would reimburse us, which he never did. This is only a small example of our experience. We would not recommend this company to anyone.
