Today (5/17/17) we received a call about this complaint The notification letters had been sent to the wrong address and were returned to Revdex.com This is our first notice via email.I am not familiar with this incident I will look into it and respond again if there is time before this
case is automatically closed. We certainly don't want to lose any customers because of mistaken legal issues I'm sorry if you were embarassed and insulted We try to treat people the way we would like to be treated and pride ourselves on customer service Occasionally we do have to deal with stolen items and if someone brings anything stolen in we do block them from doing any further business with us I'm not sure what happened in this instance and why it has not been cleared up I will try to figure out what's going on and get it straightened out I will talk to our representative who keeps track of the stolen/police items but he will not be here until Friday Also, the other representative I need to speak with won't be here until Monday.I will respond to this by the first of the week after speaking to both of them I don't want you to think we're ignoring this complaint This is the first time we've been notified of it.If everything checks out, we will make sure to unlock you and hope to get everything cleared up I am truly sorry for any confusion and misunderstandingBest regardsKathy S***, Gold Rush Pawn
From: Gold Rush Pawn Sent: Tuesday, May 23, 2017 4:29 PM Subject: Response to consumer complaint #[redacted]I received my first notice of this case on Friday and responded that I would look into it. Your notices had been sent to the wrong address and were never received until your representative called me and then emailed the case here.Today I tried to update my response and see nowhere to do this on your site. It is marked as no further action necessary at this time.I checked with everyone at the store and nobody is familiar with this incident. It is noted as happening 1/1/13 and, of course, we are closed on New Year's Day so I expect that is an estimated date. It has been long enough that it's just hard to remember what transpired plus a couple of our employees are no longer at the store and the employee manager in 2013 has since retired. We have removed the 'BLOCKED' status and took out the notes saying we can't do business. We welcome you to stop in any time. I am sorry for any misunderstanding. This is a sensitive area of our business and always just try to avoid receiving any stolen items and doing business with the evil doers. Somehow reversing this status was overlooked in 2013. We are looking forward to doing business!Best regards,Kathy S[redacted], Gold Rush
