Review: My husband and I purchased a new Acura RDX on August 15, 2015. I tried to negotiate but I was told by their manager [redacted] that the price is low and that I will also get a free Lojack and maintainance for three years. We were in a hurry to go home and believed that the freebies are correctly in the Sale Contract but when I reached home I found out that we got charged for the freebies she threw into the sale. I examined it and found also that we got charged for a 6 year extended warranty which I didnt like. I canceled those immediately and she promised that it will take 4-6 wks but no longer. My husband brought the car for the paint protection and he was told there is no Lo-jack installed, so really? we paid for something that was not in the car? This new management duped us. We were so patient, gave them time to credit this amount $2735.13. I followed up with Acura Financing and it is now October 12th, nothing has been communicated nor check for Lojack was received. Do not go to this company, I was sorry I ever chose to come to this Dealership.Desired Settlement: To immediately refund back the money or credit our account and adjust more for the interest taken from the refund of $2735.13.

To Whom It May Concern,
We sold a vehicle to this family on August 15th.
Unfortunately we did not pre install Lo Jack on this vehicle before the family
took delivery. Most of our vehicles we pre install the Lo Jack system before
the vehicle is ready for sale for the convenience of our customers. When we
found out this vehicle had not had the system installed we gave the family the
option to cancel the service and told them that we would help refund the amount
to their lien holder. We met on August 28th to cancel this service
and at that time they also decided to cancel the extended service contract they
purchased.
The LoJack refund took the 5 weeks to refund off their loan
amount as promised. I let them know that when we cancel a service contract that
was purchased the refund takes longer but would be refunded back in full by
Acura Care within 6-8 weeks but I would help expedite right away. We talked to
the client on both October 5th and 12th when she was
trying to refinance her loan to another lender. We know how frustrating waiting
can be and assured her the process on our end was already completed for both
cancelations. We verified that the check for the lojack refund was already
processed and paid on her account and that the Acura Care was still pending
refund. On October 15th we verified that the Acura Care refund was
also paid on her account.
We understand that these clients feel that we fell short
of the world class service we strive for. We have reached out and let them know
how important their business is to us .They will be in for service within these
next few months. We would love an opportunity to help assist them in the future
and welcome them here again.
